Minister for Europe Chris Bryant gave parliament an overview of the main issues that were discussed at the recent European Council's GAERC (03/11/2009)
The Minister for Europe and Foreign Secretary David Miliband attended the GAERC on 26/27 October on behalf of the UK.
The issues discussed included climate change, the Copenhagen summit, the Lisbon Treaty, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Middle East Peace Process.
