Brussels

Brussels is not the easiest place to get round for pedestrians. Cars and bicycles tend to rule. Cobbled footpaths, uneven flagstones and cyclists occasionally swerving out of their cycle lanes onto the pavements are just some of the pitfalls. However buses are frequent, and usually on time, and taxis are readily available from outside the Justus Lipsius (JL) building.

The Metro and trams are not advisable for wheelchair users.
